Zach Fitchner is a print-based visual artist and educator based in Columbus, OH. Beyond his studio practice, Fitchner served as 2024 Tamarack Fellow, Associate Professor of Art at West Virginia State University (2015-2024), and Vice President of Internal Affairs for Southern Graphics Council International (2020-2022).

His creative research explores the intersections of printmedia, drawing, photography, and installation, with a focusing on themes of humanity, the influence of spirituality, and the formation of identity.

Fitchner's artwork has been showcased in numerous exhibitions across seventeen states and six countries, with his prints finding homes in collections in the United States, Egypt, Slovakia, and Australia.
